ITC’s objective of influencing the road users’ attitude so that significantly better traffic behaviour is the result, can almost only be realised by carrying this out in a protected environment. Furthermore it is essential to bring insight into one’s own behaviour as well as that of other road users. For this reason, ITC has developed a concept for establishing traffic instruction centres where different forms of traffic education will be carried out. Various municipalities in the Netherlands have shown an interest in this concept.
