Measuring
receding traffic
- passes the radarsystem
- enters the radar beam (start of measurement)
- is continuously measured
- leaves radar beam (end of measurement, photo position)

Measuring approaching
traffic
enters the radar beam (start of measurement)
is measured. If the vehicle exceeds its threshold
speed, a photo is taken. This photo position is approximately 3.5 meter after the vehicle
has entered the radar beam.
leaves the radar beam (end of measurement)

The measurement
methods such as described above, apply to the use of the cameras.
A two-day course is necessary to learn how to use such apparatus. Checking the correct
adjustment of the radar apparatus at the location, such as placing the apparatus at the
side of the road, the measuring angle and the measuring distance are of great importance
in defending an opinion in any future discussion.
